I don't do well with SFS, even the acacia. But what does work for me is to carry packs of instant oatmeal (I use the Quaker heart smart plus extra oat bran) in my purse. If I am at an "unsafe" restaurant I ask for hot water and a mug and have at it before the meal comes. I have my oatmeal three times a day and it had made a huge impact on the D without causing C.

Particularly for people like you who have trouble with SFSs. And maybe that's an easy way of getting round the travelling with Acacia and having it at breakfast thing...you'd look less strange eating oatmeal! Then you could have the Acacia AFTER breakfast!
