The veggies I most often use for grilling are zucchini, bell peppers, asparagus, chard, spinach, mushrooms, and carrots. I have tried the tube polenta, and it is faster for cooking, but I usually buy the bulk stuff, because it's cheaper.

Actually, all the fiber in the bean soups helps my C, and I don't get gassy as long as I take some Beano and Digestive Enzymes with my meal. The Imagine soups don't bother me, but then, soymilk has never been a problem for me either...

The BRAT philosophy is funny, because all those foods (with the exception of toast) seem to really help my C...go figure!

BRAT is also used for those suffering from nausea and vomiting. I had a friend who went to the ER because she couldn't stop vomiting; the doctor prescribed the BRAT diet for her to follow for two days. So, I don't think it's just for D, but for anyone whose digestive system is being extra touchy. Also, it's only to be used for a couple of days, a lot like the BTC diet.

And how many do you take with a meal? And how many beano?

Thanks again, Julia!
