You all might already know this one, but it's called CAFIX. You can only get it at the health food store. It's made of roasted chicory root, malted barley and beet powder. Sounds weird I know, but it has the same consistency of coffee and you can add in your sugar and non-dairy creamer and still FEEL like you are having your coffee. I love it, because I have been a coffee drinker for as long as I can remember, and when I had to give that up I WAS FURIOUS! This gives me that same feeling of having coffee, plus I can dip my oat bran muffins in it. YUMMY! Just wanted to share for anyone who had to give up their coffee and is looking for a substitute. Oh, this also counts as part of your total daily liquid intake, since there is no caffiene in it!

Just make sure that it doesn't contain the same ingredients as real coffee. Real coffee (even decaf) has ingredients in it that cause GI upset....so make sure you know what's in it

The problem with real coffee lies in the coffee beans themselves - the tannins and enzymes that are there, in addition to the caffeine. That's why even decaf coffee is a big no for us.
Sounds like CAFIX has the same basic ingredients as Teeccino, which is also safe.

Oh no, this has no coffee beans in it at all, just organic roots and stuff like that. Here are the actual ingredients.... MALTED BARLY, CHICORY, FIG AND BEET ROOTS. That's it.
