I noticed an organic brand of baby food that has cominations of veges like carrots, potatoes, corn and green beans. Or a fruit combo with oatmeal added. Has anyone tried eating baby food as a snack to get those all-important vegetables?

I have a new grandchild, and quite often I've had a jar of her food. Completely peeled, cooked, and pureed, just what we need, right? Especially when I don't have time to cook something!

But I don't want to end up having baby poops. I'm IBS-D, and wasn't sure if the pureed, mashed stuff would prevent my stool from bulking up.

I eat fruit puree babyfood every day, I love it. I eat it when I used to eat yogurt ie after meals or with breakfast. I haven't tried the savoury ones yet as they don't appeal to me as much at all. Its a great way, LOL about "baby poops" this hasn't happened me!

I love my babyfood! And as long as you're eating non-babyfood food too, you won't get baby poops, so don't worry!

Man, that is a GREAT idea. I never even thought of that. I'm going to get some today and try it! I'll make sure to get the mixed ones so that they have SF and ISF together! Seems like the perfect snack!
