I'm really upset. I had my first attack in two months..I know that thats good, compared to how I used to be. I just feel so mad because I was doing so well, and then I got sick. If anyone has some motivation or words of encouragement, I would love to hear them. Thanks.

Two months is a LONG time to go without an attack! You should be proud! I know it's hard to feel that way when you are not feeling well AND you're disappointed because you got sick, but that's really great! If you can figure out what may have caused it, then you might feel better about it, so try that. Otherwise, I think we all have totally random times when we feel terrible and don't know why!! Feel better soon and try to stay positive

I know you feel bad right now, but we have all had attacks that just seem to come out of the blue.
Try to remember what you ate during this timeframe.
I hope you solve it, and stay positive no matter. Just think about LauraSue - one year, no attacks!!!!!! You can do it too. God knows I am trying.
Hang in there!!!

Sorry to hear it KellyAnn, have you figured out the source? Hopefully its something that is easy to eliminate and you can get right back on track

Hi, KellyAnn!
First, congratulations on making it two months! Whoo hoo! You did good!
Now, LauraSue's rule is it's totally okay to feel sorry for ourselves for ONE DAY after an attack. (We usually feel like roadkill for one day after an attack so that works out real well.) We even used to have a pity party hat that we would pass around to whoever needed it. Let me see if I can find one for you.
Also, do you know what caused it? You don't have to confess if you're embarrassed as long as you identify the trigger for future reference. Do you keep a food diary? It's VERY helpful. I used one for a long time.
Feel better, hon, and I'll be right back with that hat!
