We're into the final countdown. I'm so excited and Andy (my hubby) is so impressed and pleased for me. Of course I couldn't have done it without him either! He's the cook in the family and never minded making some extra rice or pasta for me or plain poached chicken when I needed it. He also with great reluctance (kidding) eats half of my dinner whenever we go out, plus his own appetizer, his own dinner and his own dessert!! You'd think he'd weigh 400 pounds but he gets A LOT of exercise playing squash several times a week and going to "spin" classes at the gym (stationery bike extreme classes with music and a person leading -- weird but real popular here).

Anyway, I just have to make it through Sat night and whoo hoo, one year no D.

Someone asked me what a typical lunch and dinner are for me. I have some recorded since I've been counting calories so let's see:

12/29
Lunch Andy's homemade chicken noodle soup, crackers.
Dinner pasta, broccoli

12/30
Lunch granola bar & "milk" (meaning IBS safe equivalent)
Dinner more chicken noodle soup, crackers, pumpernickel bread

12/31
Lunch leftover pasta and broccoli
Dinner broiled paprika chicken breast, white rice, asparagus

1/1
Lunch bagel and "cream cheese"
Dinner spaghetti with clam sauce, peas

1/2
Lunch leftover paprika chicken, rice and asparagus
Dinner bagel and "cream cheese"

1/3
Lunch white rice with "milk" and sugar, 1/2 orange
Dinner leftover spaghetti and peas

Hope this helps!

yay! i am so excited for you! Wow, you really do eat like a bird, you don't get hungry??? I eat atleast ten times that in a day!
Those spin classes are crazy! I don't feel I have the stamina yet to handle them, but they are included in my gym membership, and yes it is very popular, and tough!
I jog by them sometimes and it looks pretty intense. Someone at the gym told me that it is funny that almost the whole class dissapears by time it is over, it is too much for them.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I know its early to say that, but I know you will make it.

I am so happy for you and I hope to arrive at the point you have reached too. I know I can, because you did it! You are an incentive to us all!!!!

Thanks everybody. (I had to set up a new login to get in today for some reason.)

Sheri, no I don't get hungry but remember I also have regular snacks. I aim for roughly 1300 calories a day broken out as 3 meals at 300 cal each plus 4 snacks at 100 cal each. (And judging by your picture, there's no way you eat ten times that in a day!!)
