I tried Phazyme Ultra Strength Gas Relief (180mg anti-gas simethicone) this morning and it has immensely relieved horrible gas pains and pressure. I posted this in another thread, and Heather thoughtfully replied with "Check this thread out Angel!". I thought I'd post this in another thread. I bought the package that was pink that comes with 36 soft gels ($7.79 at my grocery store). The recommended dosage is 1-2 capsules per 24 hours. I took one softgel about six hours ago, and my pain is currently gone. I also had a meal in that time with fairly easy digestion.
Just wanted to make sure that you saw this!!

I had no idea it was sold in ultra strength. Thank you so much for telling me. I apreciate it since my gas is so severe. I missed the other thread you posted. Sorry about that. I'll get that medicine as soon as I can.

I recently purchased Phazyme Ultra Strength Gas Relief. Gas/bloating is my only (thanks, Heather) IBS sympton now. The instructions state to only take these pills with a meal or on a full stomach; however, oftentimes I experience bloating between meals and would like to take the pill then. Suggestions?

I've taken them on an as-needed basis. No averse side-effects. I'd double-check, however, with your doctor.
