pain in ovary area? anyone else get this?

Does anyone else (ladies) get pain way low down in your abdomen, like in the ovary area? I used to assume it was ovulation pain, but now I am wondering if it is IBS-C related. I am a little bit C right now, and also having that feeling of incomplete evacuation. With the holidays I've been eating too much dairy and such. So now I am experiencing this "ovary" pain again. It hurts almost like a muscle pulling on both sides when I stand up. I had an ultrasound a month ago for ovarian cysts, and did have some small cysts which the doctor is watching, I am taking bc pills religiously so I *shouldn't* be ovulating. I haven't had any this pain lately, until today, and my diet has been crap so I am wondering if there is some relationship.

Well, at least it sounds like the same thing.
I had a constant sharp pain on my left side (which got worse if I tried to walk or go to the bathroom) right where my ovary is, and I swore that I could feel my ovary sticking out of my abdomen.
I had an ultra sound done and sure enough, it was severe constipation!  The kind that only medicine will take care of.
My suggestion is to call your doctor if it's really bothering you.

I have little pains in that area sometimes. I guess I'm lucky, they're not too bad, in the scheme of things. Every time it happens though, I think of Bart Simpson saying "ooohhhhhh, my ovaries!".

Going through this right now. Sounds just like you discribed. Have a GI appointment tomorrow. I figure it's just my IBS because I'm having a bad time of it right now.
