what does everyone do besides supplements to get enough. I take one supplement per day and try to have soy milk in the am and a pria bar once a day. but on days when my tummy is very sensitive and I stick to mainly "white" foods I worry that my calclium is too low. what do you all think? thanks!!

Hi. I've worried about this too cause osteoperosis runs heavily in my family. I've been drinking a high calcium soy milk in hope that will be enough but I'm interested in this one too.

I try to take 3 tablets a day....I think the recommended daily allowance is 800mg...and the tablets I usually use say to take 2 a day but I take 3 because Ive found it more helpful as Im ibs-d and it helps with the urgency. I know some people do alright with just 2 tablets though.

I eat luna bars and take calcium supplements, but what I've noticed is the problems I had before and was taking extra calcium to control with my periods aren't happening... and I have calcium in my milks, though some of the enriched milks caused things to get worse- be warned! and I eat a lot of fish which has calcium! I have supplements and when I know I'm not getting enough in my diet I take one.

Yeah, i'm worried about this too. I know i don't get enough calcium in my diet but i'm afraid to take any supplements as i'm IBS C and hear that calcium supplements make constipation worse. Sorry, i need suggestions on getting enough calcium too.

I have tried using liquid calcium and so far it is working and not making my constipation worse. I bought it online.
