I haven't seen this on the board anywhere and for those who suffer from IBS-D, you might find some relief using this on a bad day. Years ago when my oldest was a baby (he's now 17) and he had a really bad bout of D, the doctor recommended this to me. He called it the BRAT diet. Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast = BRAT. It works wonders for me when I'm having a bad day. In fact if I know I might have a bad day or two coming, I do this for a few days ahead of time and I don't seem to have trouble.
