These are my symptoms. It started one day out of now where. I get this buring feeling in my stomach sometimes, others it just hurts, kind of like aches. Sometimes I feel bloated and like if I could just pass stool or gas I would be fine. Heres the thing I never do pass the stool. I know many people her have either D or C and the pain is aleviated with a BM. I go every morning once and that is all. I never go in the afternoon. I did when it first started have to go more. I would have D but it would be like C to get it out. I would have to push really hard for just the littlest amount of D. I do have to say that even though I am going only once a day it is really different then what was normal for me sense this all began, the texture and such..Sorry that is graphic...
When I cut out fat and dairy the pain subsided a lot but is still there every single day. I tried just the fiber all day yesteday and today and it didn't seem to help. Water helps a lot. But I can't seem to get the pain undercontrol no matter what I do.
I am pg and the dr thinks it is acting funny because of the hormones. But most people I talk to with this are better during pg. I know it is not the baby. I had that checked many times.
I am really confused. I know that I have asked a lot of questions lately. I am just trying to figure this all out.
So diet and water has helped but nothing I do seems to get rid of the rest of the pain. It is there every day and for most of the day. It doesn't get better after I go to the bathroom. In fact sometimes it hurts worse for about 1/2 hour after I go.
Any thoughts at all???? thanks... Sorry again for all the qustions lately. You all have been so wonderful and helpful. I am just trying to figure out what is going on. If I may not have this I am going to go back and demand he figure out what is going on. I am miserable and if fixing my diet the last week or so to so much fiber hasn't helped then I am not sure what is left.
Thanks, melissa

Have you been drinking peppermint tea? That can help with pain a lot. I would avoid straining to get the BM. I think fiber takes a while to work. If you are still in pain, I would get back to your doc. Are you really gassy? That's common in pregnancy and in IBS. Sometimes, I have major pain until I pass gass and then I'm OK.

I has this problem about a month before my IBS symtoms showed up. The doc said it was a ulcer, and gave me Prevacid for a month and said I would be fine. After a month I still had the problem, the doc had me come into the office 4 times over the month, tell I had to find a gastroperson who did a scope thing down to my tummy, turns out my tummy was just making to much of what ever it makes , and that was all. I have found that cheez-its help or any type of plain or baked cracker. Hope you fell better soon
