Raw? Cooked? Pureed? Something like that might make a difference, before ruling them out completely... ideally, they should be cooked very, very well. If that's what he's doing, then... hmm, maybe another vegetable might work better for him, yeah.

Do you mean they are coming out whole in form, or just that his BM is orange? Me and my DH (who does not have IBS) get orange BM after a lot of carrots.

Cooked - he does not eat raw anymore - and he says little undigested bits...are what is on the other end
