being from the uk i cant as much of the things you all talk about in my supermarket - well i have had a good route around nearly every supermarket going im still unsure of some of the things i am eating - can i have bread sticks ? and is there anyone who knows of any make of crisps i could maybe get over here that i can have ? - Also i had my hospital appointment yesturday and its confirmed i have ibs - he has referred me to a dietition to help with the food situation - although im doing ok on heathers diet thankyou very much lol! Anyway hes also told me to start weaning myself off my mebeverine tablets because im taking them before each meal at the moment and suggested i only take them when i am in pain or my stomach starts to play up! what does everyone else think about this? - i missed one tablet last night to see how it affected me and i must say i woke up feeling very sickly this morning which has died down since i had a tablet before breakfast. should i carry on taking them or will the sickness die down when my system gets used to not having them anymore??

Hi Jen,
I find breadsticks ok if you can tolerate wheat, as they are lowfat. I tend to eat the Snack-a-jack rice cakes rather than crisps, as even lowfat varieties aren't very lowfat!
