Antidepressant for an IBS-A

Since most of the tricyclic ant-D's tend to cause constipation and the Seritonin ReUptakes tend to cause more diarrhea symptoms as side effects, what's a poor IBS-A girl to do! What are you other IBS-A gals and guys taking when we tend to flip flob back and forth like a balancing act that I can't seem to balance! Thanks for your input.

Lexapro did give me D as a side effect of the initial adjustment period... maybe the first week or two. After that, no problems either way. And yep, I'm technically an A (I was a D for the longest time, but when I started on Heather's diet strictly, I went A.)

I take Zoloft!!! I had D from it for the first two weeks but after that fine!!! Good Luck!!!
