I found the website. Here is the link. Why Sugar is Toxic to the Body
It also has other sugar articles on there as well.

I think quite a lot of people with ibs would be bothered by sugar...simply because it can create gas plus the possible connection between sugar and gut bacteria and fungi loving it as the perfect food to feed on. i would recommend to anyone to eliminate it as part of an elimination diet and then to reintroduce it slowly to see how their body truly reacts...

Red meat is evil!
No, no, carbohydrates are evil!
No, sugar is evil!
No, fat is evil!
No, green veggies are evil! (Being IBS-D, I think so!)
Bottom line is, moderation in all things, and what works for one won't work for someone else.
I eat a lot of sugar because it is hard not to when you are cutting out fat.

Thanks for posting this. I'm one of those who cannot digest refined sugar, although fruit sugar, honey, and cane sugar do not seem to bother me. I've cut refined sugar from my diet and its worked out fine. This article makes me glad I did it!
Thanks again,
Kim

I'm glad I could be of help. :)
I am glad, you are feeling better. I am trying to cut out refined sugar as well, it is so unhealthy and bad for you. I feel that it is worth it in the long run and it is nice to feel better too! :)

You two are great. Moderation not in moderation, that made me smile!!!!
And Amo616, as a fellow IBS-D-er, I do believe evil exists, and it lives in vegetables!!!!!!!!

I always barely tolerated broccoli -- I ate it because I thought I was supposed to. But now I know it's probably because it always had a bad effect on me. It just wasn't till I developed full blown IBS that I figured out why.
