One thing that has struck me since discovering this site is how many young people are affected by IBS, especially IBS-C. I had always had it in my mind that this was something that was more likely to affect older people and that I was something of a rarity. Clearly that is not the case – there seem to be many 20-somethings on this site, and that is something that has come as quite a surprise to me. You all have my sympathy, understanding and total support.
Yep! I think I read (but I'm fogged, so don't blame me if this is wrong ) that IBS mainly affects woman between 20 and 40. So yeah, you are something of a rarity - all our men are! Only kidding!
