OT: Does anyone know anything about Candidias?

Being that I've been on antibiotics, steriods and I'm on birth control pills, my diet has lots of bread, pasta, and white rice in it I was thinking that I could have a candidias infection. Has anyone dealt with this problem?

I have, but it had nothing to do with my diet. I have a tendency to get a "yeast" infection any time I take antibiotics for more than seven days.
I started taking Acidophilus Plus which puts back the good bacteria that Candidias takes away. you might want to give that a try, you can find it at any pharmacy (OTC).

I agree, those antibiotics get me every time. If I take my acidophilis I'm much better off. Nature's Bounty has a chewable tablet that tastes like a piece of candy so I look forward to taking it after I eat!

If you think you a yeast infection. Call your doctor and ask for Dilfcan. It is an oral pill that will take care a V yeast infections in 24 hours. Warning you may have to go and see your doc to get it. And you CANNOT BE PREGNANT IN ORDER TO TAKE THIS PILL!!!

I get a condition that's similar to Candidias called vulvodynia. When I was on birth control pills I got it all the time. My doctor gave me boric acid suppositories that I had made up at a compounding drug store. They work wonders whenever I first feel the condition coming on. Now, I'm never without them in my medicine chest.
