Someone suggested I try turkey dogs since I can eat turkey with no problem and they are low fat. My GI tract obviously did not agree as I was up at 2 am with pain and D. What is it about the turkey dogs that went wrong? I am so disappointed, and not feeling so well this morning. Try a different brand. Maybe there was a preservative in there that your tummy didn't like. I eat them all the time without problems! Maybe it's the gelatinous material ( ) they use to hold it all together, or maybe the spices? I checked the ingredients ... no pork listed. I did not see an HFCS. 5 grams of fat which is 1/3 of normal hotdogs. Maybe it was that I ate 2 instead of just 1.
