I recently heard about some rice based sour cream, rice cream cheese, and rice butter. Has anyone heard of or used any of these products? I'm unable to handle soy. I think that Rice Line is the name of the company that produces these items, but I've been unable to find them on Google. Thanks. Teresa

Hey, Teresa Lynn!! How ya doin today, sweetie!

I've seen other people mention rice milk, butter, cheese very favorably on the board, but I don't remember specifics. You could try a search here, or just wait for someone who knows about it to come along.

Hope you're having a good day!

Hi Laura Sue,
It's not that big of a deal really. I'll run into some in a Health Food Store one of these days. I'm doing a lot better with the IBS lately, so things are looking up.

Thanks,
Teresa

Hi Shelby,
Hey,I think Soyco may be the name I heard originally. Right now, I'll suffer whatever indignity it takes to feel better.
I miss cheeseand I know that's wrong, but that's how I feel right now. If I find any rice products, I will definately let everyone know. Thanks so much for your help. Teresa

Hey Khyricat,
I can't tolerate chocolate and I know Heather says cocoa is okay, but do you think that the silk pudding would be good if I left out the cocoa? Thanks, Teresa

Shelby,
You're a little angel. That is exactly where I saw all the rice goodies that I was asking about. Everybody go look! Purrs, Teresa

I love it with the cocoa, but she has some other puddings in her book that aren't chocolate that would also be yummy that way... I don't think that recipe perse would work wihtout the cocoa unless you adjusted something else to make it taste good.. what type of flavors do you like?

Amie,
Well, I haven't had pudding in years, but I liked pistachio,
lemon, and butterscotch which I realize has the B word in it. I'm brain dead today so that's about all I can think of at the moment. Any ideas? Thanks, Teresa
