Hello all: I'm trying to incorporate active yogurt cultures into my diet for good intestinal health. Is yogurt probiotics? Please let me know what brand and flavors are your favorites. Thanks. Lauriea

You need to get active yogurt cultures as you said and then, yes, they'll contain probiotics. I'm afraid I don't know any brands.

I grew up on homemade plain yogurt, and Wildwood comes closest to tasting like real yogurt. I like the peach flavor and the plain. It is nice and tart, like real yogurt, and doesn't have the funny soy aftertaste that I found with Silk. I buy Wildwood at Whole Foods. I hope you can find it, and I hope you like it. You might also consider going to a vitamin store and buying a Probiotic pill such as acidopholous (spelling?). From what I've heard, the best kinds are the ones that are kept in the fridge. Hope this helps.
