Magnesium citrate is the devil!

Doctor said i am constipated and have like a softball size thing of stool sitting in me and she tells me to drink magnesium citrate...... well, it did what it said, It made me use the restroom. But does it give you a lot of gas..... is it supposed to cause my stomach is hurting so bad. They said thats why my back was hurting, from all the stool. but my question is DOES MAGNESIUM CITRATE GIVE YOU GAS?

I've had to use magnesium citrate several times for my chronic C, and it gave me terrible gas and cramping. Since starting this diet and changing all my bad habits, I don't have to keep any in the house for emergencies. Good luck and I hope you don't need to use it again.

Yup... been there, done that, thankfully it was years ago.  Nasty stuff. If I remember correctly, it did give me awful cramps and gas. Hope you feel better, and that you never have to use that stuff again!
