Well, I finally got my big move all done and took the time to settle in. Sorry for not stopping by sooner. For all the help you guys have given me over the past few months, though, be certain I wont forget you all.
Ohio is pretty nice. Better weather than Florida-and I think I left Pensacola just in time.
AND, the best news is my IBS symptoms have been pretty mild. Some gas and bloating and a few small episodes. I was able to eat a few new things-like a potabello mushroom burger(which tasted better than beef!)-at a wedding recently.
BUT, wouldnt ya know, this morning I got a pretty bad episode. Oh well. Not sure what it might have been. The only new thigns I had were 2 small Arby's onion petals and a few sips of this soy chai latte drink. Does anyone have bad eps from green tea?
I'm more apt to think its nerves. I finally got a job interview after being here for a little over a month, and it'll be the first new job (if I get it) since I had IBS and I'd be lying if I said it wasnt something I thought about a little. Add to that the pressure both me and my mom are having at not working is making home life a little tense. I also havent done my CDs in a month (which I have to start over-not a big thing. Shoot, if the 1/3 I did do helped me THIS far, I have high hopes for the finale!)
Anyway....I'll get over this little thing like I have before. The pain will go away and I'll still be in a better place than I was before.:) But I just wanted to say hello again and hope I can pop in again much sooner.

good luck Joe.. positive thoughts your way... and glad to hear the move went smoothly.. where in OH? I spend a lot fo time down there since thats where I grew up and I still have family and friends over on the eastern side of the state... and its only an hour from here to Toledo... so we do get down that way on occasion.

Ironically...I'm IN Toldeo. My aunt lives over here and my mom's been wanting to move by family for some time. That's why I ended up moving back home...just took longer than we wanted. But now she's here and we're getting settled.

Hey Joe! Good to hear from you! I remembered that you *were* in Florida, and that you were moving, but couldn't remember if you were moving out of state or not - glad to hear you missed all the insane hurricane activity!
You sound pretty positive about things, and that's wonderful. You'll get back on track with the CDs and feel better soon, I'm sure of it. Good thoughts coming your way!

I know Heather in MI can't find all the things I can find here.. with WHole foods, trader joes and a very good kroger natural foods section, as wellas a few good HFS's
