My doctor told me the worst complaint was bloating and to get phazyme and take it before you eat, I have only been doing this for 4 days with the Zelnorm but it is helping. She said there is no over the counter medicine for bloating just take a phazyme before every meal or snack to cut down on the bloating, might give it a try.

Just a thought I was telling artist that my doc gave me Zelnorm but also told me to take Phazyme before every meal to help with pain and bloating and this is helping or it was over the last few days. I have IBS-C but she recommended it for C&D patients because that is the #1 complaint from both sides of the house. Thanks RLU

I seem to be ok, a little D but I'm cool with that, much better than C, I can live with it. It has definitely helped the pain and bloating however I am only on 1 does a day told me only to go up to 2 if I wasn't relieved. I have six weeks worth to take for starters then back to the GI doc I go, she also said to take a Phazyme before every meal this is helping to reduce bloating and pain so far.
