The news report this morning was that Atkins causes headaches, muscle aches and digestive problems. They didn't have Haagen Dazs sorbet at the store b/c the carb free ice cream pushed its way into that spot.

Hey Sis,

THAT WAS SOOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!

I needed a laugh. WAH, not feeling so good today, Sis.
Got up about 5AM with tummyache and went to bathroom about 3 times and then was nauseous. Had to go to work and kinda got better. Came home and still a little yucky.

Think it was brought on by stress. My mom (85) called yesterday and said that she had a gas leak. She had to have a plumber come out and replace lots of pipes and valves to her stove, heater, hot water heater, etc.
COST $2800.00!!!! She was so upset because they were digging up her yard and messing up her house and of course I got upset, too. She seems to be OK now, though.

I bought some of those wrist accupressure bands for nausea and, by gosh, I think they are working.....or maybe it is the pepto I took earlier.

How are you doing, Sis? How's George? AND Jack????

Hey, Sis,

I just now saw your post. I am SOOOOOO behind on everything!

Funny you should ask about George. He's barking as we speak. He's driving me crazy. Last night I heard him at 10:20 p.m., barking incessantly, non-stop. I was so pissed, I was going to call JoAnn and wake her up, but I was too tired to get out of bed. Thankfully, all the windows were closed, so the sound was muffled, and I was able to drift off to sleep. I am SOOOO gonna get a "zapper" for dog barking!

How are you feeling today? Did you figure out what brought on the attack? Amazing how I'm always sick when you are. I've been fighting an oncoming UTI for days now, and it seemed to spread elsewhere; I've had Big D, severe indigestion, hot flashes and chills. Something weird is going on.

None of it has stopped me from sewing, though! I've been sewing curtains -- again! Oy.

But I'm finally done. It all looks great, if I do say so myself. I'd post some pix, but my scanner isn't working; I didn't do something right when I re-connected it. ARGGGH!!!

Now we're finishing work on the stained glass workshop; all we need to do now is get a work surface and install it.

We still have 8 huge picture boxes to open, full of framed pictures and all my framed needlepoint pieces. I'm just putting off organizing them as long as I can......

Sorry about your mom. I can't help but suspect contractors when it comes to elderly people; they know they're at their mercy, and I think they take extreme advantage. Okay, sorry; I've probably said more than I should... I do that a lot.

Glad the wrist bands are working. They worked for me on my cruise. Ya know, we gotta do what we gotta do....

Good to hear from you. I wish you'd e-mail me sometime so we can chat.

Bevvy
