Question - I am currently taking a total of 5 grams of soluble fiber supplements in a day - and that has been agradula increase from 2 a day - how high up do you go? When is it enough? I know it probably depends on the person and what your body can handle - but is there an average of what you should take in a day?

THANKS!!

If I'm remembering correctly, Heather recommends 12-15g a day in a fiber supplement - a quick check at the "IBS Supplements" information (link is in the menu to the left) will confirm that. However, I know some of us have been happier with lower doses - I seem to be doing pretty good at 8-10g/day - and I know there's at least 1 person (Kandee? was it you?) who takes a lot more than that. Hope that helps a little!
