Gigi, what is Hyoscyamine/Levsin? Is it a prescription, otc, or herbal medicine?

Thanks!

hi rob - welcome!

you might consider changing fiber supplements; metamucil is notorious for causing gas and bloating. since i've changed to citrucel powder, the gas is much better... and the clothes i put on in the AM still fit in the PM :-> in a pinch i can tolerate metamucil wafers... but the powder and capsules inflate me!

hope it helps --

kk

Hyoscyamine is a prescription medication. It's an antispasmodic.

IT is an anti-spasmodic, and it works great on taking the pain away.

Hyoscyamine is the generic form.

Call your doc, it only comes by script. IF you have to go in, it might be worth it. IT works great for me, also, it comes in a timed release form, it shouldn't make you drowsy like the sub lingual form. Give it a try.
