I was just wondering if anyone can share the procedures they use to finally cut their constipation.

hey there I don't eat any white flour products, processed foods, sugar, caffeine, and fats. I eat starches and proteins separately, each with a portion of vegies. Vegie soups work wonders and loads of peppermint tea. Always brings on a poo. Lots of water too. No straining on the toilet...deep breathing...yoga and exercise. Thats it!!!

Hello!
Are you on an SFS?? Are you going at all, or just little bits at a time?? Are you following this diet?
I usually start out my mornings with a bowl of oatmeal w/ cut up and peeled peaches and fresh blueberries. And I add my Benefiber to the oatmeal. I have a tendancy to go just in the mornings and this seems to kick start it. I also follow the diet pretty strictly throughout the day. For me the key is lots of water, some exercise (I take walks), constant soluble intake and a good amount of insoluble every day. Every now and then I also will do a self massage to my colon. I know it may sound weird, but it's something my chiropractor suggested, and seems to work on those days that my colon wants to be stubborn. Using a gentle pressure, and going in a clockwise pattern, push on your colon starting on your lower right side and moving up toward your navel and down your left side.
Hope I've helped some. Good luck.

I massage my colon also when I have pain or stuck gas - it works wonders.
