I've been taking Metamucil pills for my IBS and they really help. I've been taking one before I go to bed which really helps in the morning. I know you are supposed to take them with water, but is there any harm in taking them with other liquids? I mean, I'm assuming soda or beer is not a good idea, but juice? My morning tea? Is there any reason the fiber won't dissolve in water-based stuff?

Any liquid is fine - doesn't have to be plain water. -nt- new
