I had seen it at my HFS a few times before but now I am just so desperate, I'll do anything. I wanted to see if you all knew anything about it or had tried it before.

It's ingredients are:

Rhubarb (root extract)
Myrobaian (fruit extract)
Ginger (rhizome extract)
Peppermint (leaf)
Elecampane (root extract)
Aloe (leaf gel extract)

It says that it might not be good for IBS-D because Rhubarb can act like a laxative, but I have C, so I'm hoping it'll be good. I'll be awaiting your responses.

Love,
Elizabeth

Is that the safer version of aloe? Any idea what the Myrobaian and Elecampane are?

Hmm, not sure, I've not heard anything about it but the ingredients look safe enough. I doubt it will hurt anything to give it a try! Let us know if you try it and how it affects you!

both the rhubarb root and the aloe are bad news. They're laxatives, and could really end up making things worse instead of better.

I'm C, so do you think the laxatives would work *for* me, rather than against me? Do you know if they are safe laxatives?

Thanks, Elizabeth

Not safe--Yes they may take away the "C" temporarily, but they will cause severe cramping.-nt- new
