I LOVE yoga! It has many, many benefits. The best advise for any new yogi is find a class. Doing the exercises incorrectly can cause you harm and/or waist your time. Most gyms have classes i.e. worlds, golds. Body flow classes are great for beginners to advanced. These classes include yoga, pilates, and Tae chi. Classes that include these will help answer your question. Once you have some experience, practicing at home can be very helpful for IBS. As for cardio, I do that after a bodyflow or pilates class.
