I just double-checked the ingredients on the animal crackers (one of the reasons I bought them was their lack of HFCS) and it said "natural and artificial flavor (contains milk)", but it was the next to last ingredient. Just to be safe, I'll stay away from them. But I've eaten them before and they never affected me like that! I've been trying as much as possible to stay away from HFCS, although I never realized just how many foods have that as an ingredient. I'm seriously wanting that peanut butter...but I do NOT want another attack like the one I had.
