Wanted to get this posted before grilling season ends!

Chinese Marinade

Enough for 2 pounds of chicken breasts.

3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons rice wine or pale dry sherry {I use the sherry}
1 teaspoon crushed garlic {or about 2 cloves}
1 teaspoon minced ginger root {or 1 teaspoon ground ginger spice}
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons chicken stock
2 tablespoons Chinese plum sauce

Combine all ingredients to make marinade. Marinate chicken breasts in mixture for at least 2 hours before grilling and broiling.

From Chicken Breasts: 116 new and classic recipes for the fairest of the foul by Diane Rozas

I use this amount for 2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves.

This is a wonderful marinade, but if you can buy Soy Vay Chinese Marinade, it's almost as good - not quite, but it is much easier. (www.soyvay.com)
