I have not tried these yet, but they look like they were made for the IBS diet! If anyone tries them before I do, please let me know how they turn out.
Savory Sweet Potato Sticks From Favorite Brand Name's Light Cooking
3 medium sweet potatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs) 3 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal, crushed to 3/4 cup 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/4 tsp onion salt 1/8 tsp cayenne 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 egg whites 2 Tbsp water Salsa (optional)
1. Wash potatoes & cut lengthwise into 1/2" slices. Cut slices into 1/2" strips. Set aside.
2. In shallow pan or plate, combine Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal & spices. Set aside. Place flour in second shallow pan or plate. Set aside. Beat together egg whites & water. Set aside. Coat potatoes with flour, shaking off excess. Dip coated potatoes in egg mixture, then coat with cereal mixture. Place in single layer on foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
3. Bake at 400ºF about 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot with salsa, if desired.
