Wow, I was bad today.       07/22/04 02:44 PM Edit Reply Quote atomic rose Reged: 06/01/04 Posts: 7013 Loc: Maine (IBS-A stable since July '05!) I never, NEVER do the retail therapy thing. But I have just been feeling so down in the dumps lately... I haven't said *too* much about it specifically on here, because I don't want to sound like a whiner, but I'm finding my rapidly-shrinking body/weight to be really, really depressing. I'm eating, but I'm still getting smaller, and yesterday I was at a point where I cried every time I walked past the mirror in the hall. So... today I decided I was being silly, and I need to go to the cheapest thrift store in town and buy some clothes that fit me NOW, and just... you know, be good to myself for a change. Well... "Be good to myself" turned into a shopping spree at Wal-Mart (ok, so a "spree" for me equals about $40), ranging from shirts to pretty girly underwear to makeup, and then... ...I chopped my hair off. (Excuse the awful picture; I'm hot and tired and it's really hard to get a good picture of your own hair!) Ahh. Good day, at least so far. The next time I see my therapist, I'll have to tease her that the acupressure she did on me today relieved my anxiety so much that I was able to spend 3 hours in town spending money!
