Hi all!

So I just wanted to share this because I thought that everyone here can probably appreciate this more than the average bear.
When I decided to move to England in 2003, my life was in sort of a slump. I was working at a restaurant where I was badly sexually harassed, I was doing college classes I didn't like and I was basically sleeping and eating the rest of the time.

One day, I made this list to make my life better. This is the list I find from 2002:

"Inspired by current reading of "Bridget Jones' Diary" and getting tired by the simple task of walking, this is my "New Thing", for lack of a better title. The intention is that if the mess that is now my life is on paper, I will take more active notice and have more inclination to fix it. As things are now, motivation levels are at ZERO. So far, goals are as follows (no specifics have been figured out yet):

1) Go to Bed earlier (At this time, I was going to bed anywhere between 4:30 and 5:30 AM)
2) Get up Earlier (Would sleep until about 2 pm generally)
3) Spend more than 2 hours daily out of the basement
4) Eat out less frequentl
5) Subsequent to #4 -- make meals at home that that do not involve: Kraft Dinner/Canned pasta (Can you imagine?? I wouldn't go near these things now!!) , Chips, cookies, chocolate, granola bars.. Basically any high fat foods in shiny wrappers, and finally any food from vending machines. I can't believe this stuff!
6) Drink 8 glasses of water a day
7) Drink less coke (Coke?? I didn't even remember at first that I used to drink coke! Then I remembered.. )
8) Lose Weigh (still not specified) (At this point, I would have weighed about 140 lbs. Ironically enough, now I weigh 165 and eat WAY better. Crazy world.)
9) Go to the gym (ugh)
10) Walk places (I drove everywhere, even the 4 blocks to my restaurant job. Now I drive everywhere because I am scared of no bathrooms on the way places!)
11) Get a job I don't detest
12) Never miss classes at school (I used to miss a lot of classes)

Note: Eating out does not count towards 2 hours specified hours out of the basement.

I "Reported in" on these things for one day, here was my report:

Got up at: 1 PM. I DID go to my class today, therefore spent almost 2 hours out of basement. I did not eat out today.
Here is the real kicker:
Ate: 1 granola bar, tuna sandwich, ice cream, M&Ms and Dorritos.
Drank: 3 cokes, 1 glass O.J. and ONE glass of water

Did not walk anymore, go to the gym, or do any situps.
Note: Right now it is 2:46 am and I am in bed. I will read until I am sleepy which will hopefully mean I will be asleep by 3:30 but if not, I will amend it tomorrow.

***
That was my first and only "Reporting In". I nearly fell over when I read that just now. 3 COKES???? Oh my god... And I weighed 139 lbs, it says. Holy moly, what the heck happened? Crazy, crazy!

Just wanted to share.
Anyone else have stories or how much goals and things like that have had to change since IBS went crazy? I knew my life was different but... WOW.

Cheers!
