Re: Anyone currently using the audio program?

It's definitely a frustrating disease! I totally understand how you feel. I have tried all options available to me and they have all offered temporary relief.
I've dealt with IBS for over 25 years (I'm 46). How long has it been for you? I read in a few places that the longer you've had it, the stronger the mind-body connection is, so it could definitely take a second or third go-round with the program to reroute those deeply-entrenched thought processes.
When you had your first setback, did you find yourself reacting to it differently, or did some of the hypnotherapy content start to change your thinking? I'm only asking because when I had my first real "explosion" after starting the program, I had to fight the urge to go down the usual path of "I'll never get rid of this problem and it's going to control my life for another quarter of a century." But the CDs have at least made me aware that there IS a better way to think about IBS and the impact it has on our lives. I'm only on day 30 or something like that, so I have a way to go, but I'm hopeful that it's going to give me some improvement. And anything is better than nothing, at this point!
I feel like my attacks are fewer and farther between, and they don't last as long...but they're just as unpleasant as always.
Let's keep each other updated and hopefully some more new people will join the discussion. Is it just me, or are these discussion boards really hard to navigate? This format seems like one I used to see when I first got on the Internet!
