I know that the EFI advises eating low fat and keeping the fat intake to 20% - 25% of total calories. Can anyone tell me what this means in terms of food labelling? In the UK, foods that are low in fat contain less than 3g/100g and those high in fat more than 15g/100g. Where would you draw the line for the EFI diet? Would you advise only eating foods with less than 3g/100g or could you include others? I understand that portion size will be critical and that cooking oils (like olive oil) are almost 100% fat.
