It turned out I had an intestinal virus or bacteria. The white ick was mucus. (Oh, gross!) The doctor put me on Tylenol+Codeine. It took care of the cramps (which were incredibly painful) and it also made me C. This was fine with me, because prior to the mucus event, I had been having terrible D.
