We bought one (sort of)       10/31/04 01:14 PM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 Torbetta, We looked at that Frigidaire one and almost bought it. But we ended up buying a top loader that imitates a front loader. It works like the front loader, but you load it from the top. And that was important to me since I have problems with my back. It's made by Fisher & Paykel. It uses less water and detergent and gets clothes much dryer. At least, it's supposed to. (It will be delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to try it. It does have a small thing in the middle that looks like an agitator, but it doesn't agitate the clothes. The detergent goes in there, where it's mixed with water and then sprayed onto the clothes (kind of like a dishwasher!!!) No more filling the tub with water and hearing it drain. We have had bad luck with the last two conventional top loaders we've had, so we're hoping this will work better.
