I'm real jazzed up about this stuff. As you know, I just discovered that my cholesterol is too high; my doc wants to see me tomorrow to "chat" about it (he's gonna give me meds, I just know it!). Any-who.... yesterday I did a lot of research about cholesterol, and Heather helped me by turning me on to Dr. Dean Ornish who is an expert on women's heart health issues. Dr. Ornish STRONGLY recommends Flax Seed Oil, which my hubby immediately went out to buy for me and which I have already started taking. I thought you guys might be interested in the stuff as well because apparently it's "important for proper immune system development, DIGESTIVE SUPPORT, healthy brain function, and cardiovascular health."

BTW, this stuff is for women only. "... the jury is still out on the risks versus the benefits of flax seed oil for men. For women, however, flax seed oil does not appear to provide potential benefits without additional risk."
