This tastes a lot like the chai lattes at Starbucks! It's similar to a recipe Heather has posted, but uses ingredients I always have on hand.

Indian Chai Tea Latte

2 cups water
4 bags red (Rooibis) tea
2 cups soy or rice milk
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1. Heat water to boiling.
2. Add tea bags; reduce heat.
3. Simmer 2 minutes.
4. Remove tea bags.
5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
6. Heat to boiling.
7. Stir with wire whisk to foam milk.
8. Pour into cups.

Yum again!

How many servings does this make? Can you save some for later & reheat, or would it be best to cut the recipe down?

Oops, I always forget to add the servings! It makes 4. I honestly don't know how it reheats, because I've always halved it and shared it with my mom.

Hi Kree. I don't mean to sound dumb, but what is Rooibis tea? Is it like green or black tea? I'd like to try your Indian Chai tea latte recipe...

Is Roobios tea like a chamomile tea?

Oops, I spelled it wrong. It's actually Rooibos. It's a naturally caffeine free tea that's grown in Africa. You can use decaf green or black teas in the recipe too, but I like the red tea because it's even safer for IBS. I honestly don't know how it compares to camomile, but I think it works really well in this recipe. Here's a web page about it: web page. I'm able to get it in my local supermarket, but you might need to look in a specialty foods store or online.
