I was fooling around in the kitchen today, and made an asian inspired soup that, with tweaking, I'm sure could be fantastic!

I don't have any measurements, because I was just throwing stuff in!

I used:

-vegetable stock
-some grated ginger
-a diced carrot
-frozen peas
-frozen carrots
-frozen vegetable dumplings
-fresh ramen noodles.

I basically threw all those ingrediants in, added soy sauce, chinese five spice and salt and pepper.

So...anybody wanna be a guinea pig and help me find a way to perfect this?

Hi

I make a wonton type soup that is similar.

2 Quarts safe chicken stock
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Sesame Seed Oil
1 or 2 cups cooked chicken breast pieces
1 cup grated carrot
1 cup finely chopped celey-1st I take strings off stalks
1/2 cup green onion finely chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
Wonton skins or noodles (like linguini broken to 4" length)
White pepper to taste
Optional: Shrimp (I like it but my son's not a great fan)

I cook everything for about 20 minutes but I add green onion, chicken, and wontons the last 5 minutes.
