I'm posting this below on behalf of Shane!! I'm SO proud of him.... after breaking his arm and still healing from the surgery to the elbow.... he has just blown me away with his JUST DU IT attitude!! All I did was get up at the crack of freaken dawn and be the photographer!!

I completed the Kirkland Duathlon this morning. It was my first. ..........
What a blast! I had a wonderful time.....
GETTING READY:
They numbered my body on Sat afternoon
I had to prep my bike........
Speed Laces for the shoes....need a fast T1 (transition for you who don't "du")
RACE DAY!!!
Setting up transition: DAMN these things start early (Setup was before 6AM)
Here I am arriving at the bike finish..........
Finishing the run and the Duathlon!
It's all over, and time to go home!
I haven't got the results yet, but I sure didn't win it......but that wasn't the point anyway.
