Jane, how do you like that New York City ballet/yoga mix? I was thinking of buying the DVD the other day but I already have SOOOO many that I don't like and would rather talk to someone who has actually done the routine. Do you really like this one?

I did buy a set of Lotte Berk's Method DVD's and I love them. Each one is 30 minutes long so no excuse not to be able to squeeze one in each day. AND, although I've used weights for a long time, I could really feel the exercises working in the back of my thighs, triceps and abs. Just working the muscles in a different way.

I would love to hear of any other tapes/DVDs that people use. I used to like the Firm tapes (have tons of them) but my Dr. said my muscles and joints were getting too tight and I needed more stretching. Probably age and arthritis don't help either.

Hi!
Sorry I missed this post earlier. I have tons of exercise tapes/DVDs and I too have a whole bunch that I have not been a big fan of.
I'll tell you the ones that I have that I DO like though..
My favorite right now is 'Working out with weights for dummies' - it's really good. I've also used 'Pilates for Dummies' which I really liked, but can't find the darn thing.
My new favourite right now is one that my bf got me for Valentine's Day (romantic, I know!) called 10 Minute Solutions. It's a DVD and it's really cool - it divides a workout into sections, and each section is 10 minutes. There is abs, thighs, buns, arms and then a Power Stretch. You can pick and choose which ones you want to combine to make your own workout. Today I did abs and buns and stretch, two days ago I did thighs, arms and stretch. I really like it a lot.
Another one that I like is Pilates for Weight Loss, I'll have to look through my tapes to find out who makes that one.
Good luck!
