Missed ONE AD...Result.....??

I missed my AD yesterday because I forgot to refill my prescription. Took it today as normal, have been on it two months.
I had pains today and LOTS of gas (which stank!!)
I ate pizza yesterday which I had before with no issues, and nothing else unusual, Today I had pasta and carrots and parsnips at lunch, but had cramps before that. They are not the "doubled over" cramps but are more the "dull pain" ones...
Could ONE missed citalopram 20mg cause this??

I betcha it could. For a little while my sleep schedule was all sorts of screwed up, and on top of that, with my father here, I was taking my AD all over the place, instead of the same time every day. The one day, I completely forgot it till about 3pm. Don't ya know, I felt like complete crap that day, and within an hour of taking that dumb little pill, I felt fantastic?
So it's possible, I'd say. Our systems are so touchy anyway, anything that throws us off routine is suspect.

My doc is amazed at how sensitive I am to fluctuating serotonin levels! I don't have IBS problems if I miss them, but typocal lack-of-serotonin symptoms. "Normal" people shouldn't notice any effect at all for 1-2 weeks. I go crazy if I miss 3 days. Go figure.

I am waiting on my RX to come in the mail (it is cheaper that way). And I have missed 2 doses so far and let me tell you that I woke up at 3: 30 am last night w/ the worst diarhea I have had in months. And I feel like crap today sorta iffy w/ cramps and gas. And the only thing I can single out as different is missing 2 doses of my AD.
