Mostly because I have super bad chronic insomnia. My boss is on my case about it again. What a pain!

Anybody have ANY suggestions on how I can somehow get to work on time? Because of my insomnia I wake up most days zombie-like. The best I can explain it is imagine how you feel at 3am when getting up to pee in the middle of the night. That's how I feel when I get up at work at 7am. Ugh!

My boss is so mad. Oh boy....

Is there a way you can come in a little later and work a little later to make up for it??

Yes it does help. I should buy some more of it. But I'd have to take it the SECOND I wake up for it to be helpful.

I come in for 9am which is the latest start time here. My co-workers come in at 7:30, 8 and 8:30 am. I do always make up the time when I am late but she is very old-school where she thinks being late (even 3 mins!) is bad.

Oh okay...I just found that after a month or so of taking it every day I was generally more alert when I was awake. It wasn't like a normal stimulant with me.

do you set out your clothes, lunch etc the night before? I have to do that because I can't make decisions in the morning and I have a hard time getting up and moving. My stomach is at it's worst then. I am late if I am not prepared the night before for the next day
Good luck, I hope you work something out

I haven't taken it for months now. It was the key ingredient in a herbal energy combo pill I took. I should stock up again.

So does your insomnia make it ahrd for you to work? I know you have fibro.

Good suggestions. My stomach is always weird in the mornings. The worst thing is I'll feel liek I ahve to go and nothing will come out and I waste time doing that.

No, I SHOULD and WILL arrange my lunch the night before as my clothes.

Thanks. Those 2 things will help for get a extra 10-15 mins!

Tina, this is a good suggestion. I have a hard time getting to work by 8 am! I always make my lunch, and even prepare part of my breakfast the night before. It saves me loads of time. Only problem is that it's sad to be thinking about the next day of work the night before...we just get home from the place!

My boss is a time stickler too. And even if you stay late, it doesn't matter. It only matters if you get in late.
