GasX vs. Charcoal tablets

What do you guys think works the best, charcoal tablets or GasX? I use charcoal tabs right now, and I'm almost out so I'm wondering if I should switch or stay with them.

Never tried the charcoal tabs, so not sure. Most of the over the counter gas relief stuff all has the same active ingredient, simethacone (sp?) and all work about the same.

Charcoal tabs? Where do you get those?
Myself, I use a combo of Phazyme and Beano. If I take too much, I tend to get a bit D, but that's almost a blessing . . .

although they are terrific, the charcoal tabs should not be used more than a few days at a time. It's my understanding that they absorb vitamins from your system and if you use them to long you can become quickly deficient in many nutrients. I'm not sure about Gas X. You'd have to read the lable. Beano is another good one to use, or Bean-zyme which is the same thing. "Gas" from Hylands to use after the fact is another that's been recommended.
