I used to really enjoy it but had a bad reaction once to it(D) and am afraid to try it again. I used to get it at the hospital where I work and it was so yummy but that one time stays fresh in my memory. I drink the Celestial Seasonings Chai tea w/o caffeine and that's OK but not as good as the real drink! YuM!

I've had chai tea mix added into soy milk before without problems, that way you don't have problems with the mix. Not sure about what mix it was though...

They sell a liquid mix that is completely dairy free. And it comes in caff or decaf. The Chai caffeine one does not bother my tum at all. I'm sure decaf is just as good. Tazo Chai, and make it with soy milk. yum!! Just discovered this this weekend and nearly kissed the server!!

Do they usually have the decaf one on hand? Because caffeine is a BIG no-no for me and this morning I ordered a soy chai latte, forgetting until after I'd walked out that they use the caffeinated version. I spent $3 and didn't drink a sip of it - gave it to one of my friends instead.

...is seriously the best chai I've ever had, better than any black or green version I've ever tried. It's good stuff. Make it strong, and try rice milk or nondairy creamer - soy milk has too strong of a taste in chai for my liking.

I buy Tazo's decaf chai liquid mix from Whole Foods and combine it with equal parts soy or rice milk and then heat in the microwave. It is soooooo good!

Shannon,

How would I order this at Starbucks? I am not big into coffee/teas/etc since I have been made sick from that stuff since about I was old enough to discover it... i wouldn't want to get the wrong thing or sound like a dummy

You would order a decaf soy tazo chai. Yum! You can buy the mix in a carton. I haven't bought the mix yet but i KNOW it doesn't bug me. It's $6 a carton here in Canada.
