Hey Minnie! I do belong to a CSA. The only problem is it is about 1 hr from my home. I drive up quite frequently in the summer, but haven't gotten up there yet this year. I used to get boxes of veggies shipped out to me, but I now go and buy early on Saturday mornings, and help out at the same time.

I just happened to see this new roadside farmer's market and decided to give it a try. The man said he was getting ready to go back to North Carolina for more tomatoes, and hopefully some corn. The produce was just delicious! I love to find and try out new markets, even if I do use the CSA. I have found and made some wonderful friends this way.

I do plant myself, also. Some years are better than others, if you know what I mean.

I also have an herb garden. My friends come over a bit too much in the spring/summer and I know why. I find them scavaging my herb garden.

Your farm sounds great. I have never heard of lovage, but am pretty much game for anything. Happy eating!
