That cake would be simple to modify. I would just use 1/4 cup canola oil and replace the other 1/2 cup with unsweetened applesauce. As for the frosting, that's a little tougher. All that butter is NOT IBS-friendly. How about trying it with the frosting Heather has posted on the index. It looks like it should work great! This cake looks fantastic.
